Who is Salt and Bush Eco Tours?
Jamie and Sebastian (Base) are expedition and naturalist guides that have had the privilege to lead tours in Antarctica, The Kimberley, The Arctic from Greenland to Alaska, PNG, and the South Pacific to name just a few of the places they have worked. After worldwide travels this couple loves where they live in the Binjareb Region, and see the natural values as world-class. Only 90 mins from Perth City you can come and explore on private guided eco-tours to see world-class sites and experience what nature has to offer. Jamie Van Jones
In 2022 Jamie was awarded the FACET Golden Guide Award for Western Australia. She was then nominated for the national tourism awards. Jamie won the Top Tour Guide Award in Australia. Jamie shares her passion for the environment with enthusiam and passion that gets everyone excited.
Sebastian 'Base' Jones
Sebasitan was nominated and became a finalist in the 2021 FACET Golden Guide Awards. He narrowly missed out. Sebastian is an Expedition Leader on Luxury Expedition Ships around the World. He has a passion and incredible knowledge of the earth and brings geology to life for everyone he meets.
Where We Operate
Salt and Bush Eco Tours Operates in a Global Biodiversity HotSpot. There is an abundance of beautiful natural areas where we conduct our tours and nature experiences within in the Peel Region also know as the Gnaala Karla Booja Region of the Noongar Nation. Our tours are located only 90 mins from Perth CBD and are a great day trip destination. We have transportation pick ups available in the Mandurah area, and other locations on request.

We ensure that all our tours are conducted in a Covid Safe manner. We have taken Covid -19 Tourism and Hospitality Training to ensure we meet all standards of health and safety on our tours. Our tours are run with small group sizes, socially distanced with sanitised equipment. All Tour Guides are triple Vaccinated.
